Free music downloads for your mobile are on offer Updated:Wed, 14 May 2008 12:59:38 For all those who love to listen to music and download music on their mobile phone then soon you can do this for free, yes completely for free. Sony has gone in league with WE7 to bring this offer to all and everyone. You will be able to download the likes of Leona Lewis and Take that for no cost at all; the only catch is that you do have to listen to an short advertisement, but for all those who dislike having to pay for their music through the likes of I-tunes, this is well worth it.
All you need is a mobile phone with an internet connection and music player and as the majority of mobiles these days have both, the choices are immense. Of course many of the Sony Ericsson phones are more than capable of allowing you to download and play your free songs. You will have to also buy a Mini SD memory card, Micro M2 memory card or MicroSD memory card depending on your choice of phone as the majority of mobiles have very little memory built-in.
One excellent choice which is capable of providing you with the means to both play and download the free music of your choice is the Sony-ericsson W910i. The phone is slim and well designed with an excellent music player which gives adequate sound through the speakers and comes into its own when plugging in the headset. Being one of the Walkman ranges of phones the W910i does the job of MP3 player extremely well and with style.
The phone also supports speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps with HSDPA connection within its super slim sliding design. This model also has features which include Bluetooth and a “shake” feature which allows you to change tracks simply by shaking the phone in one direction or the other.
The phone display is over 2 inches and is excellent when it comes to contrast and colour, it is also crystal clear. Perhaps the biggest let down is the camera, while it is an adequate 2 megapixel it doesn’t come with a flash or auto focus. The camera does come with night mode though and there are plenty of features and special effects and if you are taking photos in daylight then it does the job very well. Another big let down as with all phones is the fact that it only comes with 40MB. However you can install up to 2MB of additional memory by way of an M2 memory card.
